Terms of Service

1. Who provides the service

SMC Ledger (the “Service”) is operated by SIMOHAMED GHOMARI (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms form an agreement between you and us as the operator of the Service. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Service.

2. What SMC Ledger is — and is not

SMC Ledger is a journaling and analytics tool for recording and reviewing your own trading activity. It is an informational and record-keeping service only.

• Nothing in SMC Ledger is financial, investment, or trading advice.
• SMC Ledger does not provide trading signals, recommendations, or market predictions.
• All trading decisions are yours alone. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, and you should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

3. Your account

You agree to provide accurate information when registering, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

The SMC Ledger Pro plan is a recurring subscription, billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Payments are processed by Paddle.com as the merchant of record for billing and tax purposes.

You can cancel your subscription at any time; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how cancellation, access, and refund requests work. If we change subscription prices, we will tell you before the change takes effect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SMC Ledger unlawfully, not to attempt to access another user's data or accounts, not to probe or disrupt the service's infrastructure, and not to misuse the service in any way that could harm other users or us.

6. Your content

The trades, notes, and other journal entries you record (“your content”) belong to you. You grant us a limited permission to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you.

7. Intellectual property

The SMC Ledger service, including its design, text, and software, belongs to its owner and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service beyond your right to use it.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep SMC Ledger available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice where possible.

9. Disclaimers

SMC Ledger is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We make no promise that using the service will improve your trading results. Past performance — yours or anyone else's — does not guarantee future results.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including trading losses, lost profits, or lost data, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Terminating your account

You may stop using SMC Ledger at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the revised date at the bottom of this page changes, and material changes will be communicated to you before they take effect. Continuing to use SMC Ledger after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
